How it all began - Activity Classes for Children with a difference
The Bright Starter Programme was founded by Eve Wilson, an ex-primary head teacher and OFSTED inspector with 40 years experience in teaching reading. Eve has taught approximately 1000 children to read including her own children and grandchildren.
In her work as a literacy adviser to schools, parents and companies, Eve was continually asked how parents could help support their children at school. In response, Eve and a team of educational advisers devised the Bright Starter Programme - a fun packed, lively, holistic approach to teaching reading and writing. The programme is designed for pre-school children aged between 6 months to 6 years.
Eve designed every aspect of the Bright Starter Curriculum, as well as personally selecting or designing all the resources included in the Bright Starter Classes.
